Strength workout

It may seem like 20 second exercises would be ridiculously easy, but when you are as inflexible and imbalanced as I am currently, 20 secs is felt.  My body after just two days of this training plan is feeling it big time.

Not only do I feel incredibly awkward doing many of these exercises, but some of them like the prone (double) leg raises, I simply do not have the core strength to do even one second of them.  Still I give it my best shot.  I am feeling the burn. I have also done something to my right elbow as it is on fire.

Sunday’s run is a 5 mile slow run but does have 6x30s hill strides.  It is going to be a tough run considering all I want to do at the moment is lay down and not move a muscle.

I don’t want any actual injuries (outside of whatever is going on with my elbow) so I’ll need to listen to my body and be careful ‘working through the pain’.
