Strength Workout
Workout was moderate effort, but felt good. Except, my first rep of the first set of the split squat went tango unicorn. I ended up putting my right knee pretty hard onto the tile floor. I had a bit of a difficult time getting myself up because of the weird position I ended up in with my right foot still on the chair I used as the ‘bench’, yet the rest of me was on the floor. I got myself up though and after a moment of recovery and thinking about how that happened, I got back into it and finished the rest of the squat sets.
Note: Total time looks weird (and will look weird in these strength workouts) because I do these at work and am often interrupted during the workout, so I have to take extended pauses between sets. I don’t know what the overall effect of that is on the workout, but I am not too concerned about that as I am still just trying to gain enough strength to move on to a longer workout with more difficult exercises.
