Creamy Garlic Chicken

This is a great solution if you need for ALOT of protein with very low carbs and fats. This recipe comes in at 49g of protein with carbs and fats in the teens.

The recipe was created by a content creator named Felu and posted here. Don’t worry, the first part of the video talks about how to sauté mushrooms without adding a ton of Calories. The recipe comes in after the mushroom part.

Ingredients for 1 serving:

1 chicken breast or 180 g
250 g mushrooms
150 g water
1 laughing Cow wedge
3 cloves of garlic
8 g vegetable broth powder
2 g cornstarch
4 g oil
Salt and black pepper

Directions:
  1. Slice the mushrooms into bitesize pieces.
  2. Cut the chicken breast into strips.
  3. Peel and grate the garlic cloves.
  4. Add the water, broth, and starch into a small glass and
    mix until combined.
  5. Start by adding the mushrooms to a dry pan on
    medium heat and add 50 g of water. Let it simmer
    without a lid until the water has evaporated
    and the mushrooms have collapsed.
  6. Now add oil and sauté them, occasional stirring
    until brown, around 4-5 minutes.
  7. Push mushrooms to the side of the pan, and add
    another touch of oil and fry the chicken for
    1-1:30 minutes on each side until they get color.
  8. Add in grated garlic for 30 seconds. Add in the sauce
    and let it simmer for 2 minutes until it thickens.
  9. Now add in the cheese wedge and press it down with
    a spatula and combine everything slowly for 1 minute
    until creamy. Done!

This is great by itself or add it over rice or potatoes for a more filling meal. You will need to account for the extra macros from anything you add.

Double up the base recipe for a ridiculous 98g of protein if you really need to pack on the protein.
