Daily Update – Aug 10, 2024
No Strength Training Scheduled today
Although the temperature was higher today than yesterday, I went out for a run. I knew before going running that I was going to have to modify my workout for today. The run was supposed to be a long run @ 5 miles, but I had more than just the heat driving a change to the workout.
My Friday run ended with a weird pain in my left knee and hip. The pain subsided, but it was still achy all night. By the morning, the ache has pretty much subsided, but I didn’t want to risk pushing too hard in a run.
I ended up cutting the 5 mile run in half and reducing the pace.
